“If the project were to go beyond May 1, we’d be looking at a $500,000 per day penalty,” said Steve White, Equipment Manager for ACME Concrete Paving, Inc. “That’s a huge hit for any company, so it definitely adds a little stress to the ballgame. We’re running two shifts and have close to 100 of our people out here.”
